32. Members will be blacklisted from entering ballots and making immediate bookings for a period of six months for behaviour that contravenes the standards expected by the Police Association and reflected in these Terms and Conditions
33. Behaviour that, if proven, will cause a member to be blacklisted includes, but is not limited to:
- Failure of a member, or their spouse/partner, to occupy the home for the booking period
- Permitting another member to use a holiday home on the booking member's behalf and in the booking member's absence
- Using a holiday home on the booking member's behalf and in the booking member's absence
- Smoking inside at a Police Association holiday home
- Bringing pets or animals to a Police Association holiday home
- Allowing guests to stay on holiday home grounds in a caravan, tent or other temporary structure
- Causing unreasonable disturbance to neighbours while staying at a holiday home
- Failure to leave a holiday home in a neat and tidy state upon departure
- Causing significant damage to property or rearranging furniture in such way as to impact the time for cleaners and caretakers to rectify before the next member’s arrival
34. Members will be blacklisted only with sufficient evidence that a breach of holiday home protocols has occurred. Members will be advised whenever there is cause to investigate a breach that may result in them being blacklisted
35. A member will be advised of the outcome of any investigation that may lead to blacklisting from holiday homes and will be given the opportunity to escalate the issue with the Assistant Secretary of the Police Association
36. A member who has been blacklisted will be notified at such as time as the blacklisting expires and full access to the ballot and booking process has resumed
37. Any complaint or feedback in relation to blacklisting is to be raised with the Assistant Secretary of the Police Association
